What to expect
Preside over a committee
A chairperson presides over one of the councils, committees or boards and moderates the debate so that it reaches coherent and substantial documents.
Apply the rules of procedure
Chairs rule on points and motions and keep proceedings in line with the rules, reporting to the President of the Councils, who decides anything the rules do not cover.
Prepare your delegates
Chairs write their committee's study guide and use the Chairing Platform to run their sessions.
